Founder of Interior Design Business College (IDBC), Yannette Lebrun has always had a passion for the arts, design, and building well-organized systems that support creative success. Known for both her creativity and exceptional organizational ability, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. With over 20 years of professional design and project management experience, Yannette has led and managed projects with several respected interior design firms along with her own virtual design company YL Designs Interiors, across a wide range of spaces including upscale hotels, restaurants, commercial offices, and residential interiors.

Yannette is deeply committed to giving back through education and service. She has served as an adjunct interior design instructor at Montgomery College and Cuyahoga Community College, and continues to volunteer actively in her community through her faith-based organizations. This background gives her a clear, practical understanding of both the creative and operational sides of the design business, allowing her to quickly discern the unique challenges her coaching clients face. Through Interior Design Business College, she supports designers with streamlining operations, improving processes, refining service offerings, and confidently navigating growth so their businesses run more efficiently and profitably.

Through her fractional project management services, Yannette provides strategic and operational leadership grounded in nationally recognized standards used across the interior design and construction industries. Her work may include project planning, programming, budgeting, scheduling, coordination of designers, consultants, and vendors, contract administration, construction administration, risk management, and quality control. She oversees communication between all stakeholders, manages deliverables, tracks timelines and costs, and ensures projects move through each phase with accuracy, accountability, and efficiency. Instead of hiring a full-time project manager, clients gain access to senior-level project leadership on a flexible, scalable basis.
